Job Summary:
As a Telesales Officer, you will be responsible for generating sales through outbound calls to potential customers. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and promote our products or services. The primary objective is to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads.
- Present and promote products or services to prospective clients.
- Use effective communication skills to build interest and close sales.
- Stay informed about the features and benefits of the products or services being offered.
- Effectively communicate product information to potential customers.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Maintain a high level of productivity to achieve individual and team goals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Address customer queries and concerns effectively.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, challenges, and successes.
- Follow prescribed scripts and sales processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members and sales managers to achieve collective goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in telesales or a similar role will be preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Knowledge of digital payments is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
- High level of integrity and ethical behaviour in dealing with sensitive pricing information.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain resilient.
