Duties & Job Responsibilities:
Education:
• Master in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• ACCA qualified / ICAP CA CAF and CFAP stage cleared.

Competencies:
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business growth objectives, ensuring sustainability and cash flow management.
- Lead long-term financial planning, including capital allocation, fundraising projections, and investor engagement to support business expansion.
- Develop financial models and projections to support fundraising initiatives, including equity financing and investor relations.
- Provide investors insights scenario analysis to senior management and the board for strategic decision-making including annual and long-term budgeting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statement, in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Coordinate statutory audits. Manage relationships with external auditors, and promptly address audit findings.
- Oversee regulatory financial reporting to the FCA and other relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with EMI-specific financial requirements.

- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax findings, and manage financial risk exposure.
- Maintain a robust system of reconciliation for bank issuing, card processing, and partners, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Oversee account payable to receivable to maintain financial health and efficiency.
- Implement and monitor robust financial controls and processes to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Conduct managed reporting on product profitability, analyzing financial performance across different business segments and products.
- Evaluate pricing strategies, cost structures, and revenue streams to maximize financial efficiency and work out pricing plans for products for consumers as well as potential pf WAAS.
- Assess the financial viability and return on investment (ROI) of new fintech products and services.
- Serve as the key financial liaison with the parent company’s finance function, ensuring consistency in reporting and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to integrate financial considerations into business decisions.
- Stay ahead of global fintech trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to enhance financial strategy and business positioning.
- Establish best-in-class financial processes, including development of accounting and financial system, building accounts and finance team continuously drive improvements in efficiency and automation.
- Manage, guide and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and driving optimal team performance.
- Implement and uphold strong internal controls and processes to reduce financial risks and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Education:
• Master in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• ACCA qualified / ICAP CA CAF and CFAP stage cleared.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management (post-articles), with a strong background in fintech or digital payments.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Competencies:
- Proven experience managing accounting and finance teams.
- In-depth knowledge of UK financial regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Technical literacy on digital financial services.
