Department: Payments & Banking Infrastructure

The Payments & Banking Infrastructure (PBI) department is responsible for building, managing, and scaling ACE’s global payments ecosystem. It covers partner onboarding, payment rail integrations, banking and processor relationships, compliance coordination, and operational readiness across all supported corridors and markets. The function ensures ACE maintains a scalable, compliant, and high-performing payments network that supports rapid international growth.

Job Summary

The Partner Onboarding Officer will manage the onboarding of strategic send-side partners, including banks and payment processors. The role ensures all partners are taken through ACE’s internal onboarding framework smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. The position is critical in enabling fast, scalable partner activation and maintaining operational excellence across the onboarding lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Onboarding Management

 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding new banking and payment partners
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding timelines to ensure timely partner activation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve onboarding blockers and issues
  • Ensure smooth execution of onboarding workflows across international entities

Documentation & Compliance
 
  • Collect, review, and validate all required onboarding documentation
  • Conduct due diligence checks in line with regulatory and compliance standards
  • Coordinate with compliance teams for approvals and risk assessments
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements across jurisdictions

Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
 
  • Maintain clear communication with external partners throughout onboarding
  • Keep internal stakeholders updated on onboarding progress and milestones
  • Collaborate with compliance, finance, operations, and technical teams
  • Set clear expectations with partners regarding requirements and timelines

Process Improvement & Execution Excellence
 
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in onboarding workflows
  • Recommend and support improvements to onboarding processes
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and scalability in onboarding execution
  • Support standardization of onboarding procedures across regions

Monitoring & Reporting
 
  • Track onboarding KPIs such as activation time, accuracy, and partner satisfaction
  • Maintain onboarding dashboards and status trackers
  • Report onboarding progress and issues to management
  • Use data and feedback to improve onboarding performance

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA, MBA, IR, Engineering, Finance, or related field)
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows and stakeholder management
  • Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services preferred
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously
