POSITION SUMMARY
The Unit Head – HR will lead and manage the Human Resource function for designated business units under ACE Group, including ACE Money Transfer, ACE Union, ACE Properties, Awaz Ad Pvt Ltd, News Alert, Citizen Society, and other emerging entities.
This role is responsible for executing the Group’s HR strategy at the unit level while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, regulatory requirements, and global HR practices. The incumbent will act as a strategic business partner to leadership, driving talent management, digital HR transformation, organizational development, culture, and employee experience initiatives.

This role is responsible for executing the Group’s HR strategy at the unit level while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, regulatory requirements, and global HR practices. The incumbent will act as a strategic business partner to leadership, driving talent management, digital HR transformation, organizational development, culture, and employee experience initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Implement and align unit-level HR strategy with the Group HR vision and business objectives.
- Partner with business heads and leadership teams to support workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive cultural alignment and HR best practices across assigned business units.
- Ensure adoption of modern HR trends including remote, hybrid, and flexible work models.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
- Execute centralized recruitment strategies to meet hiring needs efficiently.
- Ensure structured hiring processes, including competency-based and leadership hiring.
- Integrate modern recruitment tools, including AI-driven hiring solutions, to improve efficiency.
- Support employer branding initiatives and talent pipeline development.
- Oversee onboarding and employee integration programs.
Digital HR Transformation & Analytics
- Drive implementation and adoption of HR technologies (HRMS, ATS, payroll systems).
- Develop and utilize HR dashboards and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Support automation initiatives across HR functions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Performance Management & Development
- Implement performance management systems aligned with business goals.
- Facilitate learning, training, and development initiatives.
- Identify and develop high-potential talent through leadership development programs.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Promote a high-performance, inclusive, and value-driven culture.
- Act as a custodian of organizational culture within assigned units.
- Encourage employee engagement, feedback, and open communication.
- Support leadership in embedding organizational values and behaviors.
Compensation & Benefits
- Implement compensation structures aligned with Group frameworks and market benchmarks.
- Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration.
- Support grading structures aligned with FinTech and financial industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with compensation-related laws across jurisdictions.
Legal Compliance & Employee Relations
- Ensure compliance with local and international labour laws.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Support investigations and disciplinary actions where required.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
Organizational Development & Engagement
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Assist in change management and organizational restructuring efforts.
Health, Safety & Workplace Well-being
- Ensure implementation of workplace health and safety policies.
- Promote employee wellness and work-life balance initiatives.
- Support reporting and resolution of workplace incidents.
LIMITS OF AUTHORITY
- Operational authority to execute HR policies, programs, and initiatives within assigned units.
- Strategic decisions and major policy changes require alignment with CHRO.
- Authorized to represent the organization in HR-related operational and compliance matters.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
Experience
- 10–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
- Experience in services, multinational, or fintech/financial sectors preferred.
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-country HR operations is an advantage.
- Experience in HR digital transformation and analytics is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance (local & international).
- Expertise in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with HR systems, analytics, and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
