Overview:

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the optimization and automation of software development and deployment processes. You will work alongside development and operations teams to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of IT infrastructure while building practical expertise in modern DevOps practices and tooling.

Responsibilities:

CI/CD and Automation: Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar, along with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
nfrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Partner with developers, system administrators, and cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure smooth environment transitions
Security, Monitoring & Operations: Apply security best practices, implement monitoring and logging solutions, and support the ongoing reliability of production systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering fields.
1–2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, cloud engineering, or a related role.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS,GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Practical experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Working knowledge of SQL and MSSQL databases.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
