As part of our organisational transformation into a modern, agile fintech enterprise, we are looking for a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead this growth-driven change from the front.

Position Summary

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at ACE Money Transfer will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s global marketing strategy during a period of rapid expansion and digital transformation. This role demands a high-impact leader with a strong background in performance marketing, digital brand building, customer lifecycle optimization, and cross-border financial services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse marketing team based in Pakistan, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across geographies. The CMO will be expected to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand equity — all while contributing actively to ACE’s broader transformation agenda and strategic restructuring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with ACE’s fintech evolution and global expansion roadmap.
  • Collaborate with C-Suite executives on corporate transformation projects, go-to-market strategies, and customer-centric innovations.
  • Represent Marketing in executive and board-level discussions, contributing insights on market trends, customer behaviour, and brand performance.

Performance & Growth Marketing
  • Lead customer acquisition efforts across digital channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic, etc.) with a focus on ROAS and CAC optimization.
  • Design and monitor quarterly marketing OKRs and KPIs, including customer acquisition targets, market penetration rates, and retention benchmarks.
  • Drive user acquisition in key launch markets like USA, New Zealand, and Middle East, in addition to optimizing existing regions.

Team Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead and inspire a multifunctional marketing team including digital, content, brand, CRM, product marketing, and analytics specialists.
  • Build team capacity and establish a high-performance culture with clear accountability, innovation, and learning.
  • Coach and mentor senior marketing talent in Pakistan and remotely across ACE’s marketing functions.
Brand Strategy & Customer Engagement
  • Define and evolve ACE’s global brand identity and value proposition in alignment with regional nuances and compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee content strategy, social media engagement, and community-building efforts across platforms and geographies.
  • Promote a data-driven approach to lifecycle marketing, CRM, and personalization to enhance customer LTV and loyalty.
Product & Innovation Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Data, and Technology teams to ensure the marketing funnel aligns with product features, UI/UX improvements, and customer journey insights.
  • Identify customer needs in new regions and help adapt marketing messaging to local contexts while maintaining global brand coherence.
Quarterly Target Examples (OKRs)

Quarter 1
  • Launch and execute performance marketing campaigns for USA and New Zealand.
  • Increase monthly active users by 15% globally.
  • Reduce CAC by 10% through channel mix optimization.
Quarter 2
  • Launch ACE’s refreshed brand strategy and website across all regions.
  • Increase retention rate by 8% through re-engagement and CRM efforts.
  • Lead content localization and digital PR initiatives in the Middle East.
Quarter 3
  • Expand influencer and affiliate programs in key ethnic communities abroad.
  • Achieve 25% QoQ growth in new user sign-ups from USA market.
  • Launch automated customer feedback loops and loyalty initiatives.
Quarter 4
  • Achieve 30% YoY growth in total remittance volume through targeted campaigns.
  • Lead successful go-to-market (GTM) campaigns for product enhancements (e.g., multi-currency wallet, app redesign).
  • Publish and present a year-end marketing impact report to the Board.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in fintech, digital payments, or high-growth tech environments.
  • Proven experience in performance marketing, brand leadership, customer acquisition and retention at scale.
  • Strong understanding of diaspora and ethnic community marketing in regions like UK, Europe, GCC, and North America.
  • Experience in managing remote teams and international campaigns.
  • Highly analytical with comfort using marketing analytics tools and platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to Islamabad, Rawalpindi Pakistan.
