Role Summary:
The UI/UX Designer will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, user-centered interfaces for ACE Money Transfer’s app and website. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that align with business goals and elevate the user experience. From ideation to implementation, the UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional designs, ensuring consistency with the company’s brand identity and a seamless user journey across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Creation & Prototyping:
- Translate business requirements and user needs into wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Design user flows, interaction models, and detailed UI elements for web and mobile platforms.
- Develop scalable, responsive designs that perform seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand pain points and preferences.
- Analyse feedback to refine designs and enhance the overall user experience.
- Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and measure success post-implementation.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of design with business objectives.
- Present and defend design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback constructively.
- Work closely with the marketing team to maintain consistency in branding across digital channels.
Design Systems & Accessibility:
- Develop and maintain the company’s design system to ensure visual and functional consistency.
- Adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure inclusivity for users with diverse needs.
Innovation & Learning:
- Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and techniques to bring innovative ideas to the product.
- Explore creative solutions to enhance customer engagement and simplify user interactions.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UI/UX Design, or related field.
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a product-based environment or with fintech experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in prototyping and wireframing tools; basic familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Experience designing for mobile and web, with a solid understanding of responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage feedback effectively.
- Eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive, visually engaging user experiences.
