Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Service Delivery
- Resolve assigned network and IT support tickets within the defined SLA and priority timelines.
- Provide timely support for users related to network connectivity, system access, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, VPN, and other IT services.
- Ensure personal queue tickets are monitored, updated, and closed with proper resolution notes.
- Coordinate with internal teams for escalations and follow-ups where required.
- Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, licenses, and access rights in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Ensure cloud-based applications are properly administered and aligned with company access policies.
- Support email, drive, shared mailbox, and collaboration platform-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain cloud app security and access hygiene.
- Create AD accounts, email accounts, network access, VPN access, and required permissions for new joiners before or on Day 1.
- Ensure passwords and initial access are configured securely.
- Disable leaver accounts and revoke access on the same day of exit.
- Update access records and coordinate with HR/Admin for joiner and leaver information.
- Maintain firewall, routers, switches, access points, and other network devices.
- Monitor UniFi AP uptime, performance, and coverage across all assigned sites.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, routing, and firewall-related issues.
- Ensure network uptime, stability, and performance are maintained as per SLA.
- Monitor and maintain assigned servers and services to ensure high availability.
- Perform regular health checks for servers, network services, and critical systems.
- Execute and verify daily backups as per backup policy.
- Report backup failures immediately and ensure corrective action is completed.
- Ensure all company laptops and desktops are encrypted with BitLocker.
- Monitor encryption coverage and report non-compliant devices.
- Support endpoint security enforcement and device compliance activities.
- Maintain records of encrypted and non-encrypted company assets.
- Deploy critical patches within the defined MTTP target, especially within 7 days for critical patches.
- Conduct quarterly VPN access reviews and remove inactive or unauthorized users.
- Perform quarterly AD access reviews, including group memberships and stale accounts.
- Ensure AD password policy compliance for all users.
- Support IT security audits and compliance reporting where required.
- Update IT asset records within 24 hours of any asset change, assignment, replacement, or return.
- Maintain updated documentation for network devices, SSIDs, AP layouts, switch configurations, and firewall details.
- Ensure network and system documentation is accurate, complete, and available for review.
- Support asset tracking, tagging, and governance activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, network support, system administration, or security operations.
- Certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Fortinet, Sophos, or ITIL will be preferred.
- Practical experience with AD, firewall management, cloud administration, backup verification, and endpoint security will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of VPN, endpoint security, BitLocker, patching, and backup processes.
