Job Description:
We are seeking a smart accounting professional to join our dynamic team. As an accounts officer, you will take care of the financial bookkeeping including recording transactions, payments, expenses, and processing invoices. Accounts Officers will work with accounts and finance lead in the accounting department like Bookkeepers and make sure the company’s finances are accurately recorded and books of accounts are kept up to date. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years of experience in bookkeeping and reasonable understanding of bookkeeping requirements of a fintech.

Accounts Officers will work with accounts and finance lead in the accounting department like Bookkeepers and make sure the company’s finances are accurately recorded and books of accounts are kept up to date. Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day bookkeeping of all income, expenses, assets & liabilities.
- Ensuring accurate account allocation for all financial information recorded.
- Review and ensure all expenses are budgeted for and obtain, Maintain relevant documentation for all bookkeeping records.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable & receivable.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Prepare documents for tax purposes.
- Assist with audits, tax returns and budgeting.
- Assist with preparation of monthly, bi-annual, and annual reports including financial statements.
- Reconciliation of banks, vendors, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholder's ledgers.
- Coordination with stakeholders such as banks, acquirers, issuers or as may be assigned.
- Securely maintaining any credentials of provided accesses to systems, processes and operations.
- Ensure timely resolution for reconciling items.
- Any other task that may be assigned from management from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in maintaining books of accounts, with a reasonable understanding of fintech or digital payments.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
