1. About the Role

ACE Money Transfer is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Compliance Officer to help us deliver a robust, forward-looking compliance programme.

Reporting to the Manager Compliance Assurance, you will draft and maintain internal policies and procedures, carry out compliance monitoring and control testing, and help deliver compliance training and awareness across the business. You will also track regulatory developments from the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI), EBA, FATF and EU bodies, and help the business respond to regulatory change.

This role is central to keeping ACE compliant, audit-ready and trusted by regulators and customers alike. It suits someone early in their compliance career who wants hands-on exposure to Irish and EU regulatory frameworks in a fast-growing international payments business.

2. Responsibilities

Policy & Procedure Management

  • Draft, review and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures so they stay aligned with regulatory requirements and changing business practices.
  • Keep records of policy updates and regulatory obligations up to date.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal policy matters and give business units day-to-day support on compliance queries.

Compliance Monitoring & Testing

  • Help carry out the firm's Compliance Monitoring Plan by performing control testing, documenting findings and tracking remediation actions.
  • Keep accurate records of compliance testing results and follow-up actions.

Regulatory Change Management

  • Monitor regulatory developments from the Central Bank of Ireland, EBA, FATF and EU bodies.
  • Help assess and implement regulatory changes across the relevant business areas.

Training & Awareness

  • Support the design and delivery of internal compliance training and awareness programmes, so employees understand their obligations and the firm's policies.
  • Keep training attendance records and completion tracking up to date.

Reporting, Audit & Regulatory Engagement

  • Help prepare compliance reports and metrics for senior management and the board.
  • Help prepare for regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Support ongoing dialogue with the Central Bank of Ireland.

3. Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role in financial services, ideally in payments, fintech, banking, e-money or money remittance.
  • Proven experience drafting policies and supporting the implementation of compliance controls.

Good to Have

  • Experience with regulatory compliance, compliance monitoring programmes, or internal or external audits.
  • Exposure to delivering or coordinating compliance training and awareness initiatives.
  • Familiarity with relevant Irish and EU regulatory frameworks, such as the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Acts and CBI guidelines.

Soft Skills & Leadership

  • Communication: strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to explain compliance expectations clearly to non-specialists.
  • Attention to detail: accurate in policy drafting, testing documentation and record-keeping.
  • Organisation: able to manage several priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive risk mindset: spots compliance risks early and raises them promptly.
  • Stakeholder support: approachable and helpful when business units raise compliance queries.
  • Integrity: a high standard of professional ethics and confidentiality.
