ACE Money Transfer is looking to hire MIS Analyst for its Kharian office.
An MIS Analyst, or Management Information Systems Analyst, is a professional who specializes in managing, analysing, and optimizing the flow of information within an organization. The position typically involves working with technology systems, databases, and software applications to gather, organize, and interpret data that is relevant to the organization's operations, decision-making processes, and strategic planning.Breakdown of the key responsibilities and duties associated with the position of an MIS Analyst:
Data Management:
MIS Analysts are responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining data from various sources within the organization. This involves ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of the data.
Data Analysis:
MIS Analyst will analyse the collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making processes. This may involve using statistical analysis techniques, data visualization tools, and business intelligence software. Such reports will also include analysis of transaction volumes, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention rates.
Reporting:
MIS Analyst will prepare, and present reports, dashboards, and presentations based on the data analysis findings. These reports may include key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and actionable insights that help stakeholders understand the organization's performance and make informed decisions.
Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the Relationship Development team and senior management based on data analysis and market intelligence.
Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer segmentation to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats.
System Implementation and Maintenance:
MIS Analysts may be involved in implementing and maintaining various information systems, databases, and software applications used by the organization. This includes configuring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that systems are aligned with the organization's needs and objectives.
Business Process Improvement:
MIS Analyst will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving business processes, workflows, and efficiency through the effective use of technology and information systems.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing remittance services, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, fraud prevention, and data privacy.
Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with remittance transactions, corporate partnerships, joint ventures, and/or company collaborations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, audit trails, and reporting mechanisms to support regulatory compliance and internal control processes.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams, and operational staff, through presentations, reports, and data-driven narratives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and compliance, to align MIS initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational success.
Provide training and support to end-users on data tools, reporting systems, and best practices for data analysis, interpretation, and decision-making.
MIS Analyst will coordinate with multi-functional departments to be able to closely monitor and evaluate the performance of the initiatives taken by the Relationship Department and will liaise with the external stakeholders including business partners for the company to be able to achieve the projected goals and targets associated with those partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Proven experience as an MIS Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Strong understanding of database management and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an understandable format.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
