Job Summary:
ACE Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Quality Control team. The role involves supporting the Quantity Surveyor in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial monitoring of construction projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and project budgets.
- Support the review and preparation of tender documents, contracts, and related project documentation.
- Monitor material, labor, and subcontractor costs to ensure budget adherence.
- Assist in evaluating variation orders and change requests.
- Prepare progress and financial reports under supervision.
- Conduct site measurements, quantity take-offs, and maintain accurate project records.
- Collect and report work progress data from the site to the Quantity Surveyor.
- Ensure compliance with project financial, contractual, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills: - Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of construction costs, contracts, and project management.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with cost estimation software is a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
