About the Role

ACE Money Transfer processes over millions of transactions a year across a global network of payment partners, acquirers, payout providers, and banking relationships. Keeping those integrations running and performing is critical to the business.
The Integration Coordinator sits within the PBI team and acts as the operational bridge between ACE's internal IT and Engineering teams and our external payment partners. At any given time, PBI is running between ten and twenty active integration projects simultaneously — new partner onboardings, configuration changes, technical remediation, and API performance work. This role exists to keep those projects moving and to make sure nothing stalls due to miscommunication, missing information, or unresolved queries between teams.
This is not a development role. We are looking for someone who understands how API-based integrations work well enough to hold informed conversations on both sides, spot where things are going wrong, and escalate clearly so that the right people can act. The value this person adds is speed, clarity, and follow-through across a high volume of concurrent workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Project Coordination

  • Track all active PBI integration projects, maintaining an up-to-date picture of status, blockers, and next actions across onboardings, configuration changes, and technical remediation
  • Act as the day-to-day coordination point between ACE's IT and Engineering teams and external payment partners on all integration matters
  • Keep integration timelines moving by following up proactively with both internal and external parties, escalating to the Head of PBI where progress has stalled
  • Prepare and circulate clear status updates on active integrations for internal reporting and team reviews
  • Schedule and run integration calls, ensuring both sides are prepared, actions are documented, and follow-ups are completed

Technical Bridge and Fact-Checking

  • Review inputs from both ACE's internal teams and external partners, identifying inconsistencies, gaps, or conflicting information before they cause delays
  • Ask the right questions of both sides to ensure integration decisions are based on accurate and complete information
  • Validate that proposed configurations and solutions are aligned with ACE's requirements before escalating recommendations to IT for implementation
  • Liaise with partner technical teams to gather API documentation, integration specs, and clarification on technical requirements
  • Maintain integration documentation including API specs, configuration records, flow diagrams, and issue logs

API Health Monitoring

  • Monitor the ongoing health and performance of live API integrations across ACE's payment partner network
  • Identify anomalies, degraded performance, or suboptimal payload configurations that may be affecting acceptance rates or transaction performance
  • Escalate findings to IT and the relevant partners with clear documentation of the issue, observed impact, and suggested next steps
  • Track remediation progress on flagged API issues through to resolution
  • Maintain a live view of API health across all active partner integrations and provide regular reporting to PBI leadership

Knowledge and Documentation

  • Build and maintain a structured library of integration knowledge covering partner configurations, known issues, resolution history, and API behaviour
  • Capture integration learnings so they are accessible to the wider PBI and IT teams and do not need to be relearned
  • Document pre- and post-go-live configurations to support future troubleshooting and partner reviews

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a technical coordination, integration support, or payments operations role
  • Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, SDKs, and API-based integration concepts able to read API documentation and identify issues without needing to write code
  • Comfortable operating as a bridge between technical teams and commercial or operational stakeholders
  • Highly organised with a structured approach to tracking and following up across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong written English with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Available during UK business hours or with significant overlap (PKT is UTC+5)

Desirable

  • Background in payments, fintech, or financial services — familiarity with acquirers, payout providers, open banking, or payment gateways
  • Understanding of transaction lifecycles, decline reasons, and acceptance rate drivers
  • Experience with tools such as Postman, API monitoring platforms, or project tracking tools
  • Exposure to webhook configurations, 3DS authentication flows, or payment routing logic

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary aligned to experience
  • A technically rich coordination role at the centre of a global payments infrastructure function
  • Direct exposure to a wide network of international payment partners, acquirers, and banking relationships
  • Clear scope to develop deeper payments expertise within a fast-scaling business
