Job Summary

Ashraf Gondal Laboratory is seeking a competent Part-Time Phlebotomist responsible for collecting blood samples and other specimens while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to laboratory standards.
 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures.
  2. Ensure proper patient identification prior to sample collection.
  3. Accurately label, process, and handle specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and strict infection control standards in the sample collection area.
  5. Properly dispose of biohazard waste and used sharps in compliance with safety regulations.
  6. Maintain accurate daily records of collected samples.
  7. Enter patient information and test details into the patient management system.
  8. Assist in basic laboratory tasks as assigned.
  9. Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate interaction with patients

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory (preferred).
  • Good communication skills and professional patient-handling ability.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment.
